Attentive service, delicious food, reasonable prices. Only the ambience in the courtyard is somehow empty and meaningless.

Classic Hessian cuisine on a high level presented by extremely friendly service in a historic horse stable. The dishes are not cheap but worth the price. We will be back.

Rustic restaurant with a beautiful terrace in the courtyard of the historic Forsthaus-Gravenbruch The Torschänke with its beer garden-like terrace is an ideal place for a relaxed summer evening. This is where hotel guests and local day-trippers meet for a meal or a drink after an evening walk or after-work tour with the convertible or bike. The ambiance is rustic and the service is warm-friendly and attentive. The Torschänke offers cider and typical Frankfurt specialties a very good selection of wines and draft beer. The menu of regional favorites such as Frankfurter Grüne Sauce, Handkäs' etc. offers a small fine selection of premium grilled meats: Both the short-ribs and the juicy aromatic Duro pork cutlet impress with their quality and taste. The extraordinary Frankfurter barbecue sauces from the local mustard manufactory Kornmeyer were an excellent match for the meat. Whether curry sauce from the oak barrel or red barbecue sauce with cider - here every foodie finds his favorite. The Torschänke is one of three very good and completely different restaurants of the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt-Gravenbruch - ideal for a rustic relaxed summer evening.

Delicious food, nice restaurant with a cozy and great beer garden. The interior is more rustic, yet the atmosphere is right. The prices are ok and the portions also! One cellar was very good and the other did not work! Would still come back anytime!

Wunderbar!!! Charming restaurant near Frankfurt Airport and a must-try, especially when staying at the Kempinski. Torschänke is serving both regional specialties, but also German classics with a twist. Seasonal menu, too! Friendly, attentive service, and an excellent wine list, plus Bier vom Fass! New favorite iN this area. Guten Appetit!

"Hanging tender" highly recommended - excellent quality.

Attentive, very friendly service and delicious regional cuisine. Quaint, rustic interior, which is very cozy. Also great was the ongoing campaign "I want a beef from you" with many delicious meat specialties. A special highlight: our birthday child got a nice surprise "on the house" with Prosecco and a sweet "mess" :-) We would love to come back when we are in the area, recommended and good value for money.

Nice atmosphere to sit outside, inside rustic, service very friendly, food good, although I have eaten even better trout, prices lifted, parking available, but with ticket.
